Position Overview & Responsibilities


Confidential Client is looking for a skilled professional with a strong background in the security industry, off-duty law enforcement, and operations management. As our President, you will be responsible for the overall direction and guidance of the Confidential Client division. The objective of the role is maximizing growth and profitability as well as day-to-day leadership and client account management. The President must possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and personal characteristics:


  • Develops, directs, and oversees effective business strategies and processes to ensure company goals are met or exceeded
  • Provides direction to the management team in establishing programs that maximize growth and profit to ensure the attainment of goals in the business plan
  • Develops and oversees short and long-term strategies and objectives to ensure business growth and profit
  • Evaluates performance against operating plans and standards. Provides reports to Executive Leadership on the interpretation of results and approves changes in the direction of plans
  • Works with the Senior Management team to provide direction and structure for operating departments to function effectively and efficiently
  • Establishes, reviews, and approves Operations division budgets. Operates within and holds direct reports accountable to a specified budget
  • Directs, coaches, and mentors staff to ensure engagement and productivity levels are maintained; provides regular and consistent feedback communication throughout the year and during goal setting and follow-up sessions and performance reviews
  • Negotiates supply agreements
  • Collaborates and establishes partnerships with other areas of the company to carry out responsibilities
  • Maintains regular predictable attendance
  • Abides by all policies and procedures of our Client
  • Requires excellent analytical, planning, leadership, and presentation skills
  • Requires interaction with all levels of management throughout the company, the ability to prioritize multiple projects, and to manage many concurrent projects
  • Accountable and effective at leading high business-level decisions
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and utilize significant data to make sound business decisions; extremely comfortable with developing and interpreting quantitative analysis
  • Ability to conceptualize existing barriers, methods, and practices
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of operations concepts
  • Ability to earn credibility and respect within all levels of the organization, strong individual, and team development skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong contingency planning skills


  • Prior process improvement and change management leadership roles
  • Prior management role with P&Lresponsibility

Education, Skills, and Experience

  • A Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • A master's degree from an accredited college or university is also preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a comparable leadership position.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of executive or senior leadership.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
  • A methodical and systematic approach to work and the ability to apply logic to processes.
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) knowledge and ability to use Excel to provide reporting in various forms. Proficiency in data validation/sorting, and formulas.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Corporate security, retail security, and operations support management experience preferred
  • Process-driven, detail-oriented, and highly organized.


Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary and a discretionary, performance-based year-end bonus. The Company offers a competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability, 401(k), PTO, etc.
